Hello everyone, long time no talk!
I graduated Vincennes and moved to Florida. I'm now managing a 64 lane center for AMF. Palmer Fallgren is my Pro Shop operator and Fred Borden likes to stop by every now and then apparently. Little did I know, I'm now in the bowling scene with very very good coaches all around. I've decided to take my bowling to the next level and work with Palmer to fine tune things, develop an arsenal, and work on my mental game. By the middle of next summer I should feel prepared to bowl in some Regionals here in the southeast. I could go out there now, but I'm in no rush really, might as well get things down pack and then head out to the big leagues. I rarely get to practice since I'm a manager now, but I take all the time I can to get quality practice in when I have the time.
Also, I just got a Legends THE BUZZ which is an amazing ball (for me) at least. This would be my first Legends ball which is supposed to last forever and never die since they make the balls differently using more expensive materials. I had a long talk with Borden about this too :-) I'm impressed with the ball so far, it hits like a 25lb ball.
I will be starting to bowl in the local scratch league here at the center, unfortunately, no sport shot, so I guess I will just have to hold up a 230 average for the season, at least its a night out of the house and work.
I'll keep everyone posted once it gets started next week.
Good luck to all!
Adam
